Introduction

As one examines the educational trends within this country, it becomes apparent that many educational institutions have embraced the belief that career and technical education is an articulated program which encompasses occupational and career preparation that begins in middle/high school, continues into postsecondary schools and on into adult life. The Career & Technical and Postsecondary Education Concentration, is designed to prepare preservice and/or inservice career and technical educators at all levels for their roles in this lifelong learning process. Professional preparation focuses on instructional and curricular decision-making processes required of contemporary classroom teachers, education specialists, or program leaders in secondary, postsecondary and adult settings.

The program is designed to support and encourage working students through flexible course scheduling offered evenings, weekends and online. Within the six-year limit, you can manage the achievement of your Master's degree at your own pace; work toward your Master's degree one course per semester, two courses per semester, or take courses full time.
